The Coaches

With 2 Olympic Games, 15 years of experience on the national team, and a decade of professional volleyball, Lucas VanBerkel has established himself as a seasoned veteran of the sport.
Hailing from Edmonton, AB, Lucas began his volleyball career with NAVC before continuing at Trinity Western University, where he helped secure two national gold medals and one silver. His professional career took him to Europe, while he remained a key player for Team Canada during the summer seasons. Notable highlights of VanBerkel’s career include playing a pivotal role at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games and earning a bronze medal at the 2017 FIVB World League—the first international podium finish for Canada’s men’s volleyball team at an FIVB event.

TJ was a setter that played Team Canada for about a decade where he captained for a few international tournaments. During his time with the National Team he became a 2x Olympian!
In his professional volleyball career TJ is a Polish Cup champion, Swiss league champion, Turkish Vice Champion.
Since retiring from his playing career TJ was the former Technical Director of Nunavik Volleyball, the founder of the NOEZYBUCKETS Setter Academy and the Founder of Elite Resilience.

Not too long ago Nick played volleyball at a varsity, professional and Canadian National Team level. In his varsity career he was named to the First Team All-Canadian 3 times and he was the Player of the Year in 2015. He helped his team at Trinity Wester University win 2 national golds and 1 national silver medal. Nick is in the Canada West University Sports Conference Hall of Fame.
Nick represented Canada on the court and in the sand. He attended 2 U19 World Championships with his highest finish of 4th place and 2 U21 World Championships with his highest finish of 5th place. On the court Nick played a couple summers with the Canadian Men's National Team.
After university he went on to play professionally in Germany, France, Switzerland and India. In Switzerland he was part of the Swiss Championship winning team in 2018.
Since retiring he co-founded the Athlete Wellness Academy and works with athletes across the world who have the goal of hitting harder with less pain.

Setters

Over two hours of technical fundamentals and tactical work making sure you leave feeling confident and clear on your pathway forward. Setting is a unique and unusual skill that is usually met with conflicting feedback. You will learn how to evaluate your own development critically and start taking yourself to the next level. You will also have access to Nick Del Bianco to understand the arm swing and at the end of the session we will be working alongside Lucas Van Berkel and the middles to get the most out of your middle-setter connection. Join Nick in an advanced arm swing specific clinic designed for aspiring athletes who dream of playing at the collegiate level and beyond.
In this clinic, Nick will focus on outside hitters, revealing the secrets to unlocking more velocity while minimizing discomfort in your arm swing. You’ll get the same elite training techniques he uses with University, National Team and Professional players!
We’ll kick things off with a personalized assessment of your arm swing from both a physical and technical perspective. Then, you'll dive deep into transforming your arm swing so it is more efficient and powerful.

In this advanced clinic, we will focus on refining your serving variations, enhancing decision-making in blocking, and increasing your involvement in the offensive attack. Additionally, we’ll work on advancing essential yet often overlooked skills crucial for middle blockers at the international level.
